넥슨코리아가 2017년 11월 출원한 동명의 또 다른 특허의 경우 이용자의 가챠 이벤트 실행 시 무료 재화와 유료 재화 수량의 비율에 기초해 확률을 제어하는 내용이 담겨 있다. 무료 재화보다 유료 재화 수량이 많을 때 특정 아이템의 확률을 더 높이는 방식이다. 2018년 3월에는 가챠 티켓 보유기간에 따라 보유 기간이 길수록 특정 아이템의 출현 확률을 높이는 내용의 특허도 출원했다.
